Yellow Cabs GP

Welcome to Yellow Cabs GP. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our services, including booking a ride via our website, mobile applications, or by phone. By using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.


1. Service Use

Our services are intended for individuals who are at least 18 years of age. If you are booking a ride for a minor, you must be their legal guardian and assume full responsibility for the booking and the minor’s conduct.


2. Bookings & Cancellations

  • Bookings can be made through our website, app, or dispatch phone line.

  • Cancellations must be made at least 30 minutes before the scheduled pickup time.

  • No cancellation fee applies for timely cancellations.


3. Fares and Payments

  • Fares are calculated based on time and distance, using locally regulated taxi rates.

  • We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and other approved digital payment options.

  • For fare-related disputes, please contact our customer service team within 48 hours of your ride.


4. Passenger Conduct

Passengers are expected to:

  • Treat drivers and vehicles with respect.

  • Wear seatbelts at all times.

  • Refrain from illegal, abusive, or unsafe behavior.

  • Not smoke, vape, or consume alcohol inside the vehicle.

Failure to comply may result in refusal of service, removal from the vehicle, or legal action.


5. Driver Conduct

Our drivers are required to:

  • Be professional, courteous, and punctual.

  • Maintain a clean, smoke-free, and roadworthy vehicle.

  • Obey all applicable traffic laws and regulations.

Drivers reserve the right to refuse service if a passenger’s behavior presents a risk to safety or violates these Terms.


6. Liability Disclaimer

Yellow Cabs GP shall not be held liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

  • Delays or interruptions due to traffic, weather, road closures, accidents, or force majeure events.

  • Personal belongings lost or left behind in the vehicle (see Section 7).


7. Lost and Found Items

  • Customers are solely responsible for their personal belongings during and after the ride.

  • If a lost item is reported, we will contact the driver to try and locate it in the cab.

  • Yellow Cabs GP is not responsible for the loss, damage, or replacement of any personal items left in vehicles.


8. Compliance with Local Regulations

Yellow Cabs GP operates in accordance with all municipal and provincial transportation laws. All drivers must:

  • Hold valid chauffeur permits as required by the City of Grande Prairie.

  • Adhere to safety inspections and vehicle maintenance standards.

  • Display required fare and identification information in the vehicle.

  • Fully comply with applicable bylaws and licensing requirements.


9. Service Availability & Operating Hours

  • Yellow Cabs GP operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, including statutory holidays, national holidays, international holidays, and special event days.

  • We strive to maintain 100% uptime, ensuring continuous service availability across Grande Prairie and surrounding areas.

  • Despite our commitment to uninterrupted service, we reserve the right to delay, reschedule, or cancel rides due to severe weather, road closures, emergencies, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.


10. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, logos, and digital assets on our platforms are the intellectual property of Yellow Cabs GP. Unauthorized use, copying, or distribution of this material is strictly prohibited without our written consent.


11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the applicable laws of Canada. Any disputes or legal actions must be brought before the courts located in Alberta.
